Крупные яркие цветки на коротких цветоножках переливаются всеми цветами радуги. Растение высотой 12-15 см. В центре каждого цветка - желтый глазок. Розетка продолговатых светло- зеленых, морщинистых листьев служит фоном. Цветет с апреля почти 50 дней. Используют для бордюров, клумб, в миксбордерах, альпинариях. Эффектно выглядит под деревьями и кустарниками.
Агротехника. Растение зимостойкое. Предпочитает затененные места с легкими питательными дренированными почвами. На одном месте растет 5-7 лет. Размножают осенним или весенним посевом семян в открытый грунт. При температуре почвы +16-18°C всходы появляются на 16-18 день. Расстояние между растениями 10-15 см. Семена соответствуют требованиям международных стандартов и ГОСТу РФ 12420-81.
